DC Junction Boxes
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
The generator junction boxes serve as a device for collecting the individual string lines in PV systems and act for inverters and PV module fields (on the DC side) as protection against overvoltage coupling and excessive currents. Due to the proximity to the module field, the wiring effort can be reduced and thus material and assembly time saved. In addition to the protective function, generator junction boxes perform much more tasks in today’s PV systems. Due to the large number of strings, individual faults and failures in the system are not recognized or only with difficulty. Here, the generator junction boxes with their integrated measuring technology offer maximum yield security. In addition, during maintenance work, with the help of appropriate separation points in the field, partial systems can be activated without influencing the remaining parts of the system. Enwitec generator junction boxes are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 61439-1 and IEC 60364-7-712 and in accordance with protection class II. The greatest possible system security is achieved through consistent spatial separation of plus and minus poles, double insulation of the string lines, corresponding air and creepage distances and high-quality housing variants reached.
